Recruitment of GuideStar India Project Manager

GuideStar International is currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to continue work on the GuideStar India Project based in Bangalore India. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is dynamic, thinks quickly and can take independent decisions. The person will:

The person will:

  • Develop a strategic business plan for establishing GuideStar India and a work plan to implement the strategy.
  • Manage and drive the team comprising a Relationship Coordinator who will promote the service to voluntary organisations and encourage them to provide further information and a Technology Coordinator who will maintain the GuideStar database.
  • Raise resources to sustain the work of GuideStar India.
  • Form a legal entity for GuideStar India (Section 25 Company) within six months.
  • Engage the Board and Advisory Board
  • Build a robust database of at least 30,000 valid renewable records on organisations in India within two years.
  • Support the Board and Advisory Board in liaising with the government.
