CSS President Buzz Schmidt was recently interviewed in a special feature for the April 2006 edition of Alliance Extra. Focusing on the knowledge gained from his experiences as the founder of GuideStar in the United States and now President of CSS, Schmidt discussed in great detail CSS’ plans to bring the GuideStar model to countries around the globe. In a provocative and detailed interview with Caroline Hartnell, he explains at length how the quality of nonprofit data can be assured, where revenue will come from and how far internationally the GuideStar model can go.
