Buzz Schmidt: Mr. Schmidt is founder/chair of GuideStar International (GSI). Earlier he founded both GuideStar USA and GuideStar UK. He was named 1999 US Nonprofit Executive of the Year by The Nonprofit Times and one of six visionary leaders in philanthropy by Time Magazine in 2001. He serves on the boards of The FB Heron Foundation (Chair), TechSoup Global, The Institute for Philanthropy (London), and Preservation Virginia.
Brian Smouha: Mr. Smouha is a trustee for the Institute for Philanthropy and was a senior partner at Deloitte & Touche specialising in financial institutions worldwide. He has significant experience in conducting and co-ordinating professional services in international and multi-cultural environments. His expertise in negotiating, advising and settling international disputes benefited numerous clients as well as creditors. He retired from the Partnership on 31st May, 2001.
Mathew Cherian: Mr. Cherian is CEO of HelpAge India. He was Indian Director of Oxfam, founding Director of the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) in India and a founder of the Credibility Alliance and the Network on Human Rights.
Anne Wade:
Ms. Wade is Senior Vice President and investment manager with Capital International. She is also a Trustee for ADVANCE, on the investment committee of Breakthrough Breast Cancer and is a consultative reader for New Philanthropy Capital.
Rebecca Masisak:
Ms. Masisak is Co-CEO of TechSoup Global. After successfully establishing the TechSoup program in North America (www.techsoup.org/stock), she developed an international expansion model, which today serves an international NGO audience. She has been instrumental in building TechSoup Global’s capacity and reach to support the entire portfolio of TechSoup Global’s programs for bringing products, information, human capacity and resources to the communities who need them most.
Marnie Webb: As Co-C.E.O. at TechSoup Global, Ms. Webb is the driving force behind the organization’s efforts to continuously innovate its services to help social benefit organizations around the globe better fulfill their missions. Under her leadership, TechSoup Global’s NetSquared initiative (www.netsquared.org) helps nonprofits worldwide use innovative Web tools to increase their reach and impact. Having been with the organization since 2001, Ms. Webb most recently held the position of Vice President of Knowledge Services.
