‘What Makes People Give’ in Korea which was aired on the 29th December 2009. The programme showed touching stories of charitable giving in Korea and the USA and discussed ways in which a donation culture could be encouraged in Korea. GuideStar Korea's Secretary General, du-jun Park, said in an interview with KBS that transparency and accountability in non-profit sector is one of the most important requirements for creating a donation culture. GuideStar Korea presented the GuideStar US website and the IRS Form 990 in the USA on the programme at the GS Korea office as an example of NPO information that is made available to the public.
